Hello, Brother Dajun; hello, sister-in-law.
The joyous day of your son Zhao Zhiyuan's marriage to Zhu Jiaying is upon us. I originally planned to go to Hong Kong with my old friend Zhou Ling to attend the ceremony, but due to a business trip abroad, I can only wish the wedding well from afar.
May the newlyweds be happily united for one hundred years! At this joyous time, I remember the elder Zhao Ziyang, who led us on the path of reform, and the unforgettable 1980s he left us with. Words cannot express my admiration. I can only offer my sincerest respects to my predecessor.
His foresight not only inspired the fate of an era but also nurtured the realm of historical continuity. His kindness not only helped countless people in need of food but also brought blessings to his own descendants.
Elder Ziyang would know the energy accumulated by the generation of reform and opening up, would know the glory inherited by his children and grandchildren, and would know that his eldest son and grandson Zhao Zhiyuan has achieved success in his career. And today, he is happily married to his classmate, the equally successful Zhu Jiaying.
Allow me to borrow a few lines of ancient poetry as a congratulatory message: "The phoenix and its mate fly together in the sky, accompanying each other, and they perch together dependently on the parasol tree. They cry out in harmonious tones, their calls resounding joyously. Happiness and good fortune always follow them."
