The first publicly known joint operation between Hong Kong police and Beijing’s national security office targeted six individuals suspected of colluding with “a foreign country or with external elements"; Hong Kong's China Labor Bulletin shut down after more than three decades; and over 920,000 reports have been made to the Hong Kong national security hotline since its establishment in November 2020.
